Escapist interviews Raph Koster
July 26, 2006 on 11:43 am | In MMO (Live), General Gaming, IndustryI am not a big reader of Escapist, but every so often a topic evolves into good discussions within various communities.
Their interview with Raph Koster is likely to become one such topic.
Not only is he one of the most verbose developers in the space, the games on which he has worked have generated conversations that have long outlasted the role of those games as dominate forces in the genre.
The interview is pretty good, covering the gamut of thoughts on the games themselves, methodologies and the very Raph-esque elements of philosophy and player motivation.
I'll be discussing the interview with the usual suspects at F13 and Grimwell Online.
