This is my own personal blog, a place of solace from the rigors of life and work. The opinions here are my own, except when I note agreement with someone else’s opinion. I don’t speak for anyone else and my views are not “official” anything. I’m just a massive online hobbiest.

I love massive online games. Long ago they transcended “gaming” for me and became a hobby. I have tried to give each a fair shake, but like any hobbiest, there are some experiences I like and some that just are not for me.

Further, I have a great deal of respect for those who are creating or growing these experiences. Whether they have a budget to make a city Mayor cry, or have mortgaged their home to push through a labor of love, each game is a testament to their williness to try something, anything, in this still-growing and unique space.

As a result, you will find very little virtiol here as a result. I post, sometimes people read, and sometimes they have a thought as well. I will often cross-post elsewhere, particularly Grimwell Online, as I like being a part the out-of-game communities that have been a part of MMO culture since forever. There are a few such communities I frequent, places like F13 and TerraNova and The Corporation. All very different, yet all covering common ground from very unique angles, by both gamers and developers. Check out my Links for more details.
